This summer, Barnard Castle based theatre group The Castle Players brings to you the extraordinary world of Alice In Wonderland as their annual outdoor production. Held in the beautiful grounds of the Bowes Museum, this lavish production will take you and your family through the unusual and often surreal events that Alice experiences as she falls down the rabbit hole.
With familiar names of the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Tarts plus Tweedles Dee and Dum, you can expect all the famous parts of this much loved book to appear at some point!
Adapted and directed by Dawn Trevor, the cast boasts 52 members (a pack of cards!) with ages ranging from 8 – 80.
The production is outdoors. There is covered and uncovered seating available. On site catering providing hot food from the Mad Hatters Tea Room, bar provided by Caps Off, Chocolate Fayre will be selling ice cream and a whole host of sweet treats from The Sugar Mouse.
Come early and wander around our Wonderland Experience. Bring a picnic or order one from our caterers. More details on our website
