Campaigner and writer Caroline Criado-Perez will be reading from, and in conversation about, her latest book Invisible Women (Chatto and Windus, 2019), a powerful, important and eye-opening analysis of the gender politics of knowledge and ignorance. Caroline’s first national campaign resulted in the Womens Room website, aiming to increase the proportion of female experts in the media. Subsequent campaigns put Jane Austen on £10 notes, and a statue of suffragist Millicent Fawcett in Parliament Square.

Rachel is a Lecturer in Creative Writing at Newcastle University and a Fellow of the Royal Society for Literature.
