A family fun day celebrating Open Treasure’s Exhibition of Magna Cartas and Forest Charters.
Meet the Medieval villagers as they take up residence within the Cathedral grounds – encounter a delightful array of sounds, sights and smells from a bygone era and learn of their daily life living under the rights of the Forest Charter. See demonstrations of pastimes and skills, be entertained with mumming plays and games and try your hand at skills such as rope making, butter churning and striking your own coin. An exciting and educational experience for all!
