Catherine Smith is a dedicated wife and Mother of two, choosing photography as and outlet and escape from daily life. Developing a deep passion, her talent shines through in spite of capturing images using semi professional equipment.

Catherine has no one preferred style of photography, choosing to capture whatever it may be which catches her eye. Her images range from Portraiture to Landscape and she does love the photographic style of Macro (close up) and taking advantage of the natural light.

“My personal ambition and goal is to preserve time and memories….to view a moment and connect with the raw emotions rising from the image….I’d like you to connect too.”

Catherine has had an image featured in the Annual calendar of Groundwork’s Elba Park for 2017. Her greatest achievement to date is winning Staff Winter Selection 2015 award on Viewbug amongst several other awards.
