Durham Musical Theatre Company follows on from its sensational production of Carousel with the Cole Porter classic Kiss Me Kate. Studded with some of the greatest classics in American musical theatre including Another Op’ninAnother ShowToo Darn HotSo in LoveWunderbar, Brush Up Your Shakespeare and many more, Kiss Me Kate is a charming homage to the sparkling wit of Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew and an irresistible celebration of the madness and joy of working in theatre.

It revolves around the tempestuous love lives of actor-manager Fred Graham and his ex-wife, but still leading lady, Lilli Vanessi. Add to this ‘battle of the sexes’ a couple of gangsters, who somehow get involved in the action, and you get the perfect recipe for an evening of musical comedy of the highest order. Kiss Me Kate is a multi-award winning show that will leave you shouting for more!
