Join Belsay this October half term and get ready for Halloween! Follow the Pumpkin trail to find beautiful, elaborate hand carved pumpkins hiding around the site. If you’ve been inspired, join one of the professionally led pumpkin carving workshops to create your own sculptures to take home

They’ve teamed up with an expert pumpkin carver for Belsay’s Pumpkin Week this October half term. Explore Belsay to find all nine elaborately carved, real pumpkins around the site, or drop in to the Hall for some craft activities. On certain days you can even join a workshop to create your own carved pumpkin sculpture for Halloween.

Workshops will run at 11am and 2pm on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th October only. You will create your own pumpkin sculpture to take home.

– Places are free but limited, please call customer services on 0370 333 1181 to reserve your place.
– Workshops will take place in the Hall and will last for up to two hours.
– Workshops are suitable for all abilities and ideal for children aged 8 and upwards.
– Children must be accompanied by an adult.
