‘Free to be’ is a joint initiative between Durham Cathedral and Cranmer Hall, Durham.
We explore the wonderfully numerous and evocative spaces of Durham Cathedral at night when the Cathedral has a very special atmosphere. As the title ‘Free to be’ suggests, those who come are free to use the Cathedral’s spaces for prayer, meditation and personal worship. At 8.30pm, the evening will conclude with a simple celebration of Night Prayer.
Refreshments will be provided allowing those participating to meet each other.
