The Cathedral’s Sunday Eucharist commemorates Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem riding on a donkey.
The service begins on Palace Green, and palm branches are carried in procession into the Cathedral. In ancient times palm branches symbolised goodness and victory, and these are a reminder to us of Christ’s victory over death.
