Organisers Stanley Events are delighted to announce that Stanley Fireworks will be held this year on Saturday 3rd November 2018.

The spectacular fireworks display which will once again light up the sky in Stanley will feature a girls groups versus boy bands theme, with the display being accompanied by classic songs from some of the best girl and boy bands.

There will also be plenty of entertainment for all the family including live music from local singers and musicians, food and refreshment stalls including a licensed bar, face painting, children’s characters, fairground rides and a fancy dress competition!

Organisers are looking forward to once again hosting this popular community event. Cllr Carl Marshall, who is also a director of Stanley Events, said: “We are delighted this event will once again take place.  It is extremely popular with the local community and also attracts families from across the north east.  This event has grown year on year and this year we once again have another brilliant fireworks display with plenty of entertainment for all the family.”

Stanley Fireworks is funded by Stanley Town Council and Stanley Events. The event has been part funded by Stanley Town Council which means it remains a free local event. The event takes place on Saturday 3rd November 2018 at Oakies Park, Stanley and starts at 5pm with the display beginning at 7pm.
