Explore the fascinating historical background and techniques used in Frottage (French word for rubbing) and the surrealist ‘automatic’ method of creative production.

Create a rubbing of a textured surface using pencil, chalk, charcoal or other materials. Make and experiment with different art making materials in this half-day creative workshop.
