The 12th Man is a one-woman show based on the stories of female football fans. It combines autobiographical experiences, verbatim text and commentaries on the idea of women at the match. It is a feminist portrayal of a community so often thought of as a ‘working-class male’ domain. An opportunity for women’s voices to be plucked from the crowd. Expect a singing, scarf-waving, pie-eating mix of our love of ‘the beautiful game’ and the issues we face as female fans.
