This is the last in a series of 4 Workshops led by Gill Walton with Prof Maria Chester, Berwick Educational Association. It is part of a programme of events around Scottish Colourists from the Fleming Collection.

The workshops will be a series of practical art sessions, giving amateur and professional artists the opportunity to try out some of the techniques used by the Colourist artists. Each session, which can be booked separately, will focus on a different subject: Still Life, Landscape, Portrait and Figure Draped, and will include a guided tour of the exhibition. Each class is limited to 10 students. To book a place on the workshop click HERE.

This fourth session, which will include a life model, will focus on Figure Draped, and the tour will highlight a painting by Samuel Peploe.

The workshop begins at 10 am with a guided tour of the exhibition, followed by a two-hour practical session. There will be a half-hour break for lunch and you can bring your own lunch or eat in The Granary cafe. There will then be a further practical session from 1 pm to 3 pm.

Please bring your preferred materials (watercolour/acrylics/pastels and paper/canvas). If you have an easel, do bring it along. If you have any questions about the course content, contact Gill on 07702 811374
