Drawing on her research of the Kemble family, the celebrated late Georgian acting clan, for her 2005 biography of Fanny Kemble (1809-1893), Rebecca Jenkins takes you to the theatre in the early 1800s.  Combining extracts from early 19th century acting manuals, eyewitness accounts of performances and contemporary illustrations, come see the theatre as Jane Austen would have known it.
