This exhibition, The Magic of Illustration, will bring to life books, music, characters and drawings by local and nationally celebrated artists and illustrators, who through their displays will open up their sketchbooks and notepads to reveal the process behind the finished product, be that a book sleeve or an album cover. This bright and beautiful exhibition describes the creative process, marking-up, and re-working of design and illustration showing all of the hard work and imagination that is required to bring characters to life, and proving that Rome wasn’t build in a day!
