Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th of September sees the arrival of the 240th Annual Wolsingham Agricultural Show held in the beautiful Weardale town in County Durham.
The show holds the proud accolade of being the UK’s oldest open-air agricultural show and this year there’s some amazing, fun packed activities for all the family.
All weekend there are fairground rides and over 100 trade stands, donkey rides and harness racing. There’s wonderful variety of food from street food stands and the Artisan Food Market.
Saturday sees the return to Wolsingham of the amazing Jez Avery Motorcycle Stunt Show. Jez is a World class PRO BMX, Trials & Mountain Bike rider turned Stunt Show performer.
NEW Attraction for 2019! Aldabra Giant Tortoises. Come along to the East Durham College Agriculture Village and meet the Aldabra Giant Tortoises, interact with these amazing creatures!

Saturday is Agricultural Day and there’s loads to see and do including;
Craft Tent Vintage Cars & Tractors Pig & Camel Racing Dog Agility
Livestock Parade Fur & Feather Elite Strongman Competition
SUNDAY
Sunday is Country Fair Day with;
Ferret Show Horticulture Tent Alpacas and Ponies Artisan Food Market
Mountgrace Gundogs Line Dancing Falconry Paul Hannan Stuntman
On the gate ticket prices are £10 for Adults (£8 OAP’s), £4 Child (5-16), under 5’s go free. A Family Ticket at £25 per day – 2 x Adult & 2 x Children. Don’t forget it’s FREE PARKING!
