Join us on this 3-mile trek

Join us from 10am for this gentle 3-mile family walk at 11am, set in the beautiful green oasis of 162 hectares in the heart of North Tyneside at the Rising Sun Country Park.

Boasting a nature reserve with ponds, woodlands, and extensive grasslands, a farm and Countryside Centre, the site is a haven for wildlife and an ideal place to relax and enjoy the great outdoors.

For your registration fee you receive your very own Brain Tumour Research t-shirt and a Fighting Force medal.

There’s even a ‘spot the wildlife’ trail for the children with a prize for every child that completes the booklet!

With a picnic area and café, why not make a day of it and enjoy a big family lunch following the walk.

Please wear walking boots/shoes and suitable clothing. It’s always a good idea to bring a waterproof in case of rain, water to keep yourself hydrated and sun cream in case it is a hot day. Dogs on leads are welcome.

This walk is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.

To take part, please register – £10 per adult, £30 per family of 4, includes t-shirts and finishers medals.

If you can raise £100, you can help us to achieve our target of £80,000 and get us closer to a cure
