We’ve missed you and can’t wait for you to share our new Dino Experience!

The star of the show is the new exhibition Brick Dinos which will transport you to a time millions of years ago, when dinosaurs roamed the planet. Artist Warren Elsmore and his team worked with a palaeontologist to carefully recreate some of the largest beasts to ever walk the Earth in miniature LEGO^® brick form. Most models are dinosaur dioramas in glass cases – and watch out for the 4-metre-long masiakasaurus and the pterosaur (commonly known as a pterodactyl) with an impressive 2.4-metre wingspan!

Your Dino Experience also includes some LEGO^® brick-building fun, as you’ll be challenged to create a dinosaur using a limited number of pieces. (Each visitor will be given their own unused pouch of LEGO^® bricks.) And checkout the wall of models built by local professional LEGO^®artist Steve Mayes to inspire you with the endless possibilities of other things you can build at home.

We’ve got your safety covered, with increased cleaning, hand sanitiser stations and a defined route to follow. The hands-on nature of much of the centre means our usual spaces and theatres (including the Young Explorers’ Zone) remain closed for now.

Your Dino Experience will be shorter than the usual visit. Your visit will last for around an hour but you are welcome to stay longer. Please arrive within 10 minutes of your booked time slot.
