World-Class Tribute Bands and Exceptional Local Artists to Perform at Stanhope Weekender Music Festival

The festival features an incredible line-up of over 20 live music acts, including tributes to Oasis, ABBA, Take That, Pink, Bryan Adams, Blondie, and Queen, as well as local artists such as Channy Thompson, Geoff Mull, The Skapones, and He Knows She Knows, to name a few.
Featuring an outdoor stage, a second stage dedicated to emerging artists, a fully licensed bar, and a fantastic array of local street food vendors, people are travelling from all over the UK to take advantage of the excellent camping facilities on offer!
Headlining on Friday 1st July will be Royal Rhapsody paying tribute to Freddie Mercury and the music of Queen. The band was formed by lead singer Sebastian Kelly in 2017, and since then, the band have gone from strength to strength, regularly performing in venues across Europe. Sebastian Kelly said, “We are extremely excited to be performing at The Stanhope Weekender in July. There’s no better feeling than headlining a festival. We’ve heard all about the crowds at Stanhope, and we can’t wait to hit that stage.”
With tickets starting from just £30 and those under 16’s gaining free entry when accompanied by a parent, the festival is ideal for anyone wanting to enjoy a weekend of live entertainment.
The Stanhope Weekender will take place on Friday 1st July between 2 pm & 11.30 pm and Saturday 2nd July 2022 between 12 pm & 11.30 pm at Stanhope Showground, Unthank Park, Stanhope, DL13 2PQ.
