Durham Cathedral in LEGO

For the last three years Durham Cathedral have been building a 300,000 brick LEGO model of their Cathedral, and there’s less than two weeks left before they complete the build!

With almost 15,000 bricks to add before the final brick is laid on Monday 25 July, you can support the project by visiting the Cathedral to make a donation and add your brick in person, by texting ‘LEGO16 £2’ to 70070 or by donating online at durhamcathedral.co.uk/donate

All donations go towards Open Treasure, a project which will transform public access to some of the Cathedral’s most spectacular spaces and to the breathtaking collections it has acquired over the centuries.

The story of Durham Cathedral in LEGO

As well as the build, the story of Durham Cathedral is being brought to life through a series of mini films, recreating the history of Durham Cathedral using the medium of LEGO. Check them out here:
