Science Sessions: Lemonade Titration
@ Life Science Centre
Book Now02 October 2016
2.30pm - 4.30pm
£7.50
Science Sessions are hands-on activities organised for young people aged 13+ who like hands-on science. These are individual events which you can choose to attend as you like, perhaps alone or perhaps with your friends.
How acidic is lemonade? The acid is certainly bad for your teeth, but some people say the lemonade is more acidic than vinegar – is this true?
The best thing is to do a titration. If you can master this technique, a world of practical science is open to you.
We’ll be using a variety of chemicals and indicators – some you may have seen before, some may be totally new!
Don’t forget to give us a call on 0191 243 8223 or drop us an email if you want to come (please mention your postcode when booking).
If something comes up and you can’t make it please let us know so that we don’t delay the start of the session waiting for you! You can email us at sciencesessions@life.org.uk or call on 0191 243 8223 up until the Friday before, or call or text Noel on 07786332465 on the weekend.
