‘284 Miles to Home’ is a personal journey by Scott Read as he captured his first year (2016) in his new home of County Durham after following his heart North.
“With this body of work I seek to evoke the sheer essence of what makes this region such a beautiful place to live, but in a way that was very much a personal voyage of discovery for me. Much of the pieces on display in this exhibition were shot using the HDR (High Dynamic Range) Photography that is synonymous with much of my work, a technique that really makes images highly detailed with a very unique look, a perfect way to capture such an area of outstanding natural beauty”
