Join Auckland Castle for a special Spanish inspired Dinner in the Library event, where you will have the chance to explore fine food, wine and art.

Indulge your senses with a delicious five-course tasting menu, paired with wines presented by L’Art du Vin’s Richard Bouglet.

The event will be hosted by Auckland Castle’s Curatorial Director, Dr Chris Ferguson and Senior Curator of Spanish Art, Dr Edward Payne. They will talk about the significance of Spanish Art in County Durham with particular reference to our new Gallery and Institute of Spanish Art & Culture, inspired by our collection, Jacob and his Twelve Sons, by Spanish master, Francisco de Zurbarán which has hung in our Long Dining Room for 250 years.
