Inspired by the hanging baskets in artist Paul Noble’s commission in the Laing’s Marble Hall, create your own hanging garden with experienced florist Pins Petals Powder.

The type of hanging garden this workshop will help you create is called Kokedama, meaning ‘wrapped in moss’. Create an interesting miniature garden and make a lovely feature of a window by suspending your kokedama in groups of mixed foliage, textures, transparencies and colours.

Learn about a range of plants suitable for this type of display and how to care for and maintain them. Everything you need to build your miniature garden is supplied but please do feel free to bring along any small scale decorations to personalise your creations.
