As part of this year’s Hadrian’s Cavalry event Chesters Roman Fort, which once housed around 500 cavalry troops, will welcome mighty Roman riders back to this historic site. Meet fast-paced cavalry warriors with their unique and ancient weapons, witness awe-inspiring drills and little Roman soldiers can even have a go at becoming a mighty horse in our chariot racing! Who will win the race and rule Hadrian’s Wall once again?
