Holy Week and Easter are the climax of the Church’s liturgical year as we celebrate the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We invite you to share it with us at Durham Cathedral where, in addition to our worship during Holy Week, a varied programme of talks, pilgrimage, guided reflection and quiet times on the theme ‘Praying the Passion’ is provided. The week culminates in the rich worship of the Triduum from Maundy Thursday to Easter Day.

This is a time for spiritual renewal and participants are invited to use the time in a way that best suits their needs.

Accommodation and meals are provided by St Chad’s College and the observance of Holy Week is led by members of the Cathedral Chapter.
