Visitors can enjoy the drawing, Miner and Child by Tom McGuinness whilst listening to music inspired by the piece.
The composer of the instrumental track, Glenn Maltman, will also be at the gallery alongside Corinne Aspel, daughter of mining artist, Tom McGuinness, on 2, 9 and 23 September, to offer visitors insight into the music and artwork. Miner and Child has been on loan to the Mining Art Gallery since October 2017 and leaves on October 1 2018.
