This relaxed and welcoming workshop will introduce you to hand printing techniques to explore your own creative ideas in colour. We will use mono printing techniques with colour and mark making and feel free to bring in ideas for designs. Small amounts of dried plant materials or feathers, might also give inspiration. Please wear old clothes. Suitable for beginners.
The tutor is local printmaker and painter, Cindy Robinson-Begg.
The 29 April workshop will be inspired by Picasso’s self-portrait’ Head of a Boy’, featured in our exhibition Modern Visionaries: Van Dyck and the Artists’ Eye.
The 24 June workshop will be inspired by the Quentin Blake: Inside Stories exhibition.
