Readers are lay people, trained and licensed by the Church to preach, teach, lead worship and assist in pastoral, evangelistic and liturgical work.

At this service new Readers are licensed and existing Readers rededicate themselves to their ministry. This year also marks the 150th anniversary of Readers in the Church of England.
