Summer Concert
The Gala Big Band was formed in September in 2014. With musicians as young as 11 and as old as 83 the band is made up of a diverse range of Durham based amateur and semi-pro musicians. Led by Paul Edis the band’s repertoire includes classic big band arrangements from Glenn Miller, Count Basie and Buddy Rich and includes new material specially commissioned for the band.
