A Concert For Roly

To all of us at the Town Hall, Roly Hindmarch was our ‘Mr Folk’. Sadly he passed away earlier this year.

He was well known and respected on the Northern Folk Scene and his friends and colleagues from the folk world have got together for this concert to celebrate his life.

Performing will be Loose Connection, John Weighill, The Old Age Travellers, Marie Little, The John Wrightson Band, Flossie Malavialle and Andy McLaughlin as MC.

Roly often used to end our concerts with the words “If you’ve enjoyed the concert please come back again and bring ten friends with you” so please, if you love folk music bring your friends and enjoy some great music from Roly’s friends to celebrate the life of a very special friend of the Town Hall.

All proceeds will go the Great North Air Ambulance.
